Diverging Paths

Here is the mountain,
Snow and all,
The one they bade you climb.

Here is the road
Built by fathers and sons,
The one they laid for you.

There is the path,
Crevices, wolves, cliffs and all,
The one you will forge by hand

A template or not,
There's more than one way to get to the top,
So which is the one you shall choose?

Words (There Will Be Plenty Here)

This blog will be full of words, so I might as well deal with them now first, before they prove to be trouble later on.

Big, tall, wide, and small.
fancy, plain, and downright messy.
Distressful happy, elite, gilded.

Words with gold trim
plush, feathered words
made for the rich

Rags and top hats;
gray shabby words.
dressed for the poor

Whatever word it may be;
sticky, yellow, purring.
plush velvet armchairs

gold lined paper.
slippery orange fish;
smooth and alive.

Big, tall, wide, and small.
fancy, plain, and downright messy.
Distressful, happy, elite, and gilded.
